HALIFAX — With cars being barred from Agricola St. on Sunday, the North End Business Association (NEBA) decided to test some new features, called bump-outs, they hope to see added to the street in the near future. The municipality has announced that Agricola St. will be repaved in 2019 and have earmarked $72,000 for “curb extensions and other street scaping work.” Now, the Halifax Cycling Coalition and NEBA are working together to push for “complete street elements” as part of the repaving process. “The idea is that we want to come up with some different traffic-calming measures for Agricola St.
