Image / Hamilton City CouncilDrivers are being warned to expect diversions and possible delays in and around Hamilton this week with several construction and repair projects under way. In some places, traffic management will be in place to ensure road users – including cyclists and walkers– can get through safely. At this time the northern lane of Forest Lake Rd will reopen, but the westbound lane of Forest Lake Rd will remain closed between Rimu St and Avalon Drive. Work will take place between 6pm and 6am, with stop/go traffic management and a temporary speed limit of 30km/h. • Construction of the new roundabout continues at the intersection of Bankwood and Comries Rds and traffic management is in place.
