Two masked robbers with hammers and knives got away with HK$1 million worth of gold jewelry from a store in Fan Ling this morning. The smash-and-grab happened at a jewelry shop on Wo Fung Street at about 9.40 am. Security footage from the shop shows that two robbers were involved, one in black and the other in grey. "The robbers threatened the staff and smashed the glass display cases with sledgehammers," police said. The Tai Po district Regional Crime Unit will continue the investigation.
