Although the Han Solo spin-off film made headlines when it cast relative newcomer Alden Ehrenreich as its lead, the rest of the casting is still up in the air. But, according to Variety, Solo’s leading lady will most definitely come down to a woman of colour. Some fans are speculating that the character could be Sana Starros, a romantic interest from Solo’s past in the comics books. The role of Lando Calrissian is also in heavy negotiation, with the last name attached to the part being Atlanta’s Donald Glover. “He was the first person who auditioned out of thousands.”The film is set for a May 25, 2018 release.
