Hang Seng drops at close, Next Digital vaults by 183pcStocks finished lower in Hong Kong today. The benchmark Hang Seng Index lost 154.19 points, or 0.63 percent at 24,377.43. Shares in publisher Next Digital (0282) rebounded by 183.33 percent at HK$0.255, after falling earlier in the morning on news that owner Jimmy Lai Chee-ying was arrested at his home in Ho Man Tin by police under the national security law. In mainland China, the Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index, closed up by 0.75 percent at 3,379.25, while the Shenzhen Stock Exchange Composite Index was flat at 2,277.42.
