(File photo)A hang glider has been airlifted to hospital after crashing near Murchison. The Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter was alerted to the crash about 6pm on Tuesday, which happened just north of Murchison near Longford. Later that evening emergency services were called out to another crash near Murchison, this time involving a vehicle on the Shenandoah Highway. Campbell said one person had suffered minor injuries in the crash, and was taken for treatment to Murchison Medical Centre.
