Birds of Prey WBIt’s looking like Birds of Prey may be shaping up to be somewhat underwhelming at the box office, at least judging by early returns and anecdotally, my completely empty theater yesterday afternoon. Harley’s solo outing bears the burden of being a quasi-sequel to Suicide Squad, an extremely bad film, but Birds of Prey is far better than its predecessor. Birds of Prey WBI have to reference Harley Quinn here, not the character, but the DC Universe animated series which is currently airing its first season on that streaming service. Harley Quinn DCWe don’t see any of this in Birds of Prey. I don’t know when we’ll see this Robbie Harley iteration again (Birds of Prey 2?
