Tottenham striker Kane, 27, has made it clear he wants to leave White Hart Lane this summer with the driving force of winning trophies and City would offer the best opportunity. Kane believes City are ready to follow up their interest with a bid and the England captain wants Tottenham to listen to any offers. City appear to be in the driving seat, Manchester United are keeping tabs on developments while Tottenham would be hugely reluctant to sell to London rivals Chelsea. City are believed to have made discreet enquiries as they look to bring in a new centre forward this summer as their No1 priority. But Levy is still reluctant to sell Kane, if they have to then he would rather sell abroad and is adamant that he will not sell to City.
