The One Direction star, 32, is said to have invested in the high-tech machine to help repair and rejuvenate his muscles after intense workouts and performances. He'll be able to use the sauna in between shows to help repair his muscles. Infrared saunas use heaters to emit infrared light light experienced as radiant heat which is absorbed by the skin.
