A driver left a metal post ‘sticking out on a hairpin bend’ and ‘destroyed’ a fence which helped to keep cows in a field. The driver failed to report the collision which is an ‘offence’ according to Eden Neighbourhood Police who are now trying to identify the driver using the front bumper of the vehicle having been left at the scene. A spokesperson for Eden Neighbourhood Police said: “Not only is not reporting a damage RTC an offence, but your selfish actions have put other road users lives at risk.
