Every day on Twitter, the New York Times' Ashley Parker counts down the days until this election is over. In short: If you hate politics now, just wait. Given those numbers, it's easy to see how some significant chunk of Americans simply won't believe the election results. And if they don't believe the election results, they will feel as though they don't need to abide by them. The narrowness of the Senate majority: Democrats need to win four seats to regain the Senate majority if Clinton is elected president.
