Not much more than a day after de Gooijer saw the flag, it was gone. A man from outside the community claimed credit on social media for taking the flags down, posting a widely viewed video of the Nazi flag burning. A Facebook video appears to show the burning of a Nazi flag that had been raised last week by a resident of the village of Kelliher, Sask. To him, the Nazi flag is that and more. The town office in Kelliher was open on a Thursday afternoon, but the mayor refused to comment about a Nazi flag flying just days before.
