Barely a month after her “strength and stay” Prince Philip passed away, her five-month-old dorgi Fergus has died. A palace insider“Everyone concerned is upset as this comes so soon after she lost her husband," a source told The Sun. The queen was reportedly delighted by the arrival of her pups in February, as she’d been left with just one dorgi, Candy, after fellow pooch Vulcan passed away last November. The queen has had a long relationship with dogs, particularly her beloved corgis, and has owned more than 30 during her 72-year reign. After Vulcan died, the queen vowed not to get another puppy because she was worried about tripping over the animal and leaving a young dog behind after she passed on.
