TikTok users have tried to cheer up Craig Moffat, 21, who set out full of hope for a dinner date in Aberdeen only to find himself eating alone at the expensive looking restaurant. He made a TikTok video of his trip where he was hoping for a better outcome having said after two years he was “finally” going on a date. Then he records himself forlornly at the station with the caption: “I guess I’ll just head home…I was really looking forward for tonight." His messages including "Maybe it’s not time to get back out there just yet…" and “heartbroken” certainly appeared to have touched a few TikTok users who tried to cheer him up.
