Mumbai continued to witness spurts of heavy rainfall accompanied by heavy thunder and lightning on Thursday evening that left several parts of the city waterlogged. As per officials from IMD, the city is likely to receive one or two more spells of rains over the next couple of days. Water accumulated at several locations soon after the heavy rain began. The maximum pumps, 16, were used at subways in western suburbs like Milan, Andheri, Khar and Poinsar. Bandra received 51 mm of rain, Andheri 43 mm and Dadar 25 mm within a span of 90 minutes.
