All council members should get a good idea of what’s at stake for Fort Hood’s future. Sending a large delegation shows the city’s commitment to the Army post. It’s a waste of taxpayer money. Harker Heights and Copperas Cove aren’t sending anyone. It’s hard to say what the value is, before knowing how the conference turns out.
