Transport Minister Anthony Loke said highway authorities were collaborating with JPJ to monitor traffic through the multiple closed-circuit cameras along the roads. “On PLUS Highway alone, we have had only two fatal accidents so far, compared to 14 last year. Bernama reported slow traffic flow on several major expressways as at 5pm yesterday because of the balik kampung exodus. A spokesman at the Malaysian Highway Authority (MHA) said traffic on East Coast Expressway 1 and 2 was under control.
