The Board was informed that the proposal has already been sent to National Board of Wildlife. This is also in conformity with the guidelines issued by Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun for the linear road project. Some members raised objections about the need for diversion of 33 Ha of forest (Wildlife Sanctuary) land. Goa Tamnar transmission Project Ltd, Panjim has submitted a project proposal for laying of LILO(Line in Line Out) of one CKT of Narendra (Existing)--Narendra (New) 400 KV D/C Quad transmission line. The Company is executing the transmission project to establish Transmission System for "Additional 400kV Feed to Goa and Additional System for Power Evacuation from Generation Projects pooled Tamnar) Pool".
