The High Court on Monday asked the IRC to file its reply by Wednesday, July 31. The petitioner has stated that there was no updation of electoral roll and the list of voters currently supplied by the managing committee had been blindly accepted by the returning officer. The list had many voters who had expired and there were many unverified voters in the list. The petitioner has brought to the notice of the Court that the managing committee elections were scheduled to held on August 4, 2024 i.e. He has prayed to quash and set aside the notice dated July 2, 2 024 for election of seven members of managing committee of Indian Red Cross, Goa State Branch.
