End Sky stockpiling Super League rightsOne of the biggest joys of the 2020 season was the sheer amount of rugby league on television. Super League has just tied itself to the M62 (for the uninitiated, the highway that runs across the North of England and takes in 11 of 12 Super League clubs) by choosing Leigh as the replacement for the Toronto Wolfpack. It’s not a whole marketing strategy, of course, but it’s an idea that Super League can have for free. York could boast their Super League license, ready to go as they enter the 2021 season. Essentially, the difference between them and Featherstone at this point is that Wakefield have historically played in Super League and Featherstone haven’t.
