It’s the start of season 1 here in Apex Legends, giving us the first major content drop since the game launched to near-instantaneous success in early February. But while the biggest change is obviously the arrival of the game’s first battle pass and new character, that’s not all we’re getting. Respawn just released patch notes for Season 1 over on Reddit, so let’s dive in:To start with, the notes mention the pass and Octane, no surprises there. Apex isn't nearly so toxic as other games thanks to the ping system that allows for nonverbal communication, but every community needs moderation tools. We also have better options for colorblind players and a smaller likelihood of being killed by supply drops.
