Sounds like a “new year, new me” to me — a beautiful opportunity to shed the past and to move forward in the light. But a few things I’ve noticed is that people ONLY set goals on January 1. Paul states that it is Christ’s love that fuels and compels us. I note that it does not state “Christ’s love for me” although that is true, but “Christ’s love” for all people. And yet we set goals like “If only I lost weight/ate healthier/exercised more/made more money” I’d be happy.
