Shéa Donnelly gets ready to jet out to London for his surgeryFriends and neighbours of little Shéa Donnelly from Muirhevnamor were delighted to hear that the popular seven-year-old has successfully undergone a liver transplant. Other schoolboy football sides also sent Shéa their best wishes. Shéa, who has a twin brother Caodhan, was born in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. The condition, which affects approximately one in every 100,000 babies, has resulted in Shéa suffering from jaundice, a heart murmur, pulmonary stenosis, poor growth and severe itchiness. The youth organisation also sent him their best wishes, commenting: ‘Shea has finally got his transplant and is doing well, best of luck in your recovery from everyone in Youth Work Ireland Louth.
