“You have a couple of days in between days in between games here now,” said Hitmen assistant coach Trent Cassan. “There’s a lot of guys who it was their first couple of playoff games experience-wise, so now they’re veterans of the playoffs. “Playoffs, regardless of whether you won or lost your last game or whether it’s a tight one or not, there always has to be a reset into that next game,” Cassan continued. In Friday’s Game 1, marking his first-career WHL playoff game, Tetachuk stopped 31 shots. “He played good games, but … you know … it means we’re just that close, right?” said Hitmen defenceman Dakota Krebs.
