By going into the fruit, vegetable and supermarkets, it has emerged that 20kg pack of flour is being sold for Rs 1200 to Rs 1400 at most places of the twin cities. Moreover, sugar is selling Rs 85 to Rs 90 per Kilo Gram (kg) from the original price of Rs 68. Mohsin Raza, a resident of Sector G-10, Islamabad said that the prices of commodities, vegetables and fruits are increasing every day. The Islamabad administration has enhanced surveillance by all Assistant Commissioners (ACs) for ensuring the availability of masks, sanitizers and essential commodities, he added.
