Andrew Sentance, senior economic adviser to PWC, said that he would leave them on hold this month FRANCESCO GUIDICINI FOR THE SUNDAY TIMESThe Bank of England should leave interest rates unchanged this month following November’s historic increase, The Times’s panel of experts has said in a rare show of unity. The nine-strong shadow monetary policy committee urged the Bank to hold rates at 0.5 per cent in a unanimous decision. The official committee makes its decision this evening and publishes the vote on Thursday. The Bank raised rates last month for the first time in a decade, with the committee split 7-2 in favour of an increase.
