There was a literal cow-tipping incident in Palmdale on Friday afternoon. A semi-truck hauling 160 cows overturned near a roundabout at East Palmdale Boulevard and 47th Street East shortly after 11 a.m., said Vanessa Lozano, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County Fire Department. “They’re trying to wrangle up the cows so everything can go back to normal,” she said. The driver was uninjured, and no other vehicles were involved, said Deputy Orlando Martinez with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Palmdale Station. Television news footage showed authorities on site erecting a makeshift pen out of pieces of fencing along the roadway.
