At a meeting on Sunday, the Home Ministry also urged the committees to suspend all activities during the Adhan and prayers at mosques near the pavilions. Home Minister Kamal said that on the occasion of the Durga Puja, the biggest religious festival of the Hindu community, the law enforcement agencies would take tight security measures for ensuring a peaceful celebration at the 31,137 pavilions across the country.
