PIC COURTESY OF THE FIRE AND RESCUE DEPARTMENTBUTTERWORTH: A homeless man was trapped in a five-metre-deep well for two days after he was believed to have fallen into it while attempting to bathe. "The victim is believed to be homeless and may have attempted to bathe in the well before falling in. "He was fortunate that the water level was only at chest level, which likely helped him survive while trapped for two days," he said in a statement. "The man was given initial treatment at the scene before being taken by Health Ministry personnel to Seberang Jaya Hospital for further treatment," he added.
