An emergency warning has been given to a fire in West Nowra. Pic Nick Moir 25 sept 2017An out-of-control bushfire is directly threatening homes near west Nowra on the NSW south coast. Motorists are being directed away from the area and an emergency warning for the blaze that is burning near Filter Road and Cavanagh Lane in West Nowra. "Embers will be blown up to four kilometres ahead of the fire, creating spot fires that will move quickly and in different directions. #alert — NSW RFS (@NSWRFS) September 25, 2017"These spot fires may threaten your home earlier than the predicted main fire front."
