Twenty-one new confirmed cases of Covid-19 are reported today, with 18 cases are locally-transmitted. Most of the locally transmitted cases, 14 cases, are linked to previously confirmed cases. 13 cases are transmitted by their family, the remaining one is linked to the Hong Chi Lei Muk Shue Hostel cluster. Four locally transmitted cases are of unknown sources, including a taxi driver, a police from Kowloon West Regional Police Headquarters, a supermarket staff, and a retiree. Chuang Shuk-kwan, Head of the Communicable Disease Branch of the Centre for Health Protection, said Hong Kong also recorded 3 imported cases, including a Pakistan returnee, a cabin crew from Ethiopia, and a patient from UK to Hong Kong via Turkey.
