When applying for certain posts through the Civil Service Commission, one has to sit for online exams. Another thing that struck me during my two decades in service is how some civil servants give more priority to functions and feasts rather than work. Imagine, civil servants wrapping food or even cooking in the office pantry during working hours. Do civil servants in developed countries do this? I hope there will be a tremendous change in the civil sector within five years.
