Auctioneers stormed Kazkazi beach resort in the South coast on Monday to take over the hotel's properties following a workers salary debt of Sh14.5 million. The visitors were relocated to Diani Sea Lodge in the incident that caught workers unawares. The employees were represented by the Kenya Union of Domestic, Hotels, Educational Institutions, Hospitals and Allied Workers (Kudheiha). But the court issued a temporary stay from execution on condition that employees were to be paid a 3-month salary. We are here because the employees have not been paid," the auctioneers told the Star at the hotel.
