AUG. 26, 2023 was a proud Filipino moment in Hokkaido Japan as Mang Inasal founder and DoubleDragon Corp. Chairman Edgar "Injap" Sia 2nd, Jollibee founder and DoubleDragon Corp. Co-chairman Tony Tan Caktiong, Niseko Mayor Kenya Katayama and Kutchan Hokkaido Mayor Kazushi Monji broke ground at the 1.17-hectare property of Hotel101, starting the construction of the 482-room Hotel101-Niseko project in Hokkaido Japan. At the groundbreaking of Hotel101-Niseko project are (from left) Jollibee founder and DoubleDragon Corp. Co-chairman Tony Tan Caktiong, Niseko Mayor Kenya Katayama, Kutchan Hokkaido Mayor Kazushi Monji, and Mang Inasal founder and DoubleDragon Corp. Chairman Edgar ‘Injap’ Sia 2nd. The contractor of Hotel101-Niseko was Iwata Chizaki Inc., one of the largest contractors in Japan and the same contractor that built the Chitose International Airport in Saporro, Hokkaido Japan. A world-class premier skiing destination, Niseko Hokkaido Japan has remained popular all year round for its picturesque landscapes and its natural hot springs. Hotel101–Niseko would be one of the largest value hotels in Niseko, encompassing 482 signature HappyRooms offering comfort, convenience and accessibility to all types of travelers.
