AUG. 26, 2023 was a proud Filipino moment in Hokkaido Japan as Mang Inasal founder and DoubleDragon Corp. Chairman Edgar "Injap" Sia 2nd, Jollibee founder and DoubleDragon Corp. Co-chairman Tony Tan Caktiong, Niseko Mayor Kenya Katayama and Kutchan Hokkaido Mayor Kazushi Monji broke ground at the 1.17-hectare property of Hotel101, starting the construction of the 482-room Hotel101-Niseko project in Hokkaido Japan. The contractor of Hotel101-Niseko was Iwata Chizaki Inc., one of the largest contractors in Japan and the same contractor that built the Chitose International Airport in Saporro, Hokkaido Japan. A world-class premier skiing destination, Niseko Hokkaido Japan has remained popular all year round for its picturesque landscapes and its natural hot springs.
