PETALING JAYA: A single-storey house was almost completely destroyed in a fire at Batu 8, Sijangkang, near Telok Panglima Garang, Kuala Langat, on Friday (March 27). “The fire involved a Class C residential structure measuring about 20 by 60 square feet, with approximately 90% of the house destroyed,” he said in a statement. “No casualties were reported in the incident,” he added. A total of nine personnel from the Telok Panglima Garang Fire and Rescue Station, assisted by a team from the Andalas station, were deployed to the scene. Three fire engines, including two Fire Rescue Tender (FRT) units and an Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) vehicle, were involved in the operation.
