MANILA, Philippines — The House of Representatives is eyeing to ratify the Bayanihan To Recover As One Act or “Bayanihan 2” on Monday, August 24, Deputy Speaker Luis Raymund Villafuerte said. The House will ratify on Monday and the Senate this afternoon,” Villafuerte said in a text message Thursday. Villafuerte said there were several contentious provisions that stalled the final approval of the measure, but these were eventually resolved. Authority for LGUS to increase their personnel services cap to enable them to hire more personnel for COVID response and recovery.
