The election blip has 'blipped' and the Marlborough housing market is back to its "frenetic pace" of the past year. Harcourts Marlborough recorded only 59 sales in September, compared to the "normal" 80 or so, and the real estate agency put that down to uncertainty over the election. Harcourts Marlborough sales manager Chris Greenhill said November had so far recorded 75 sales. The median house price for Marlborough in October was $420,000, compared to $360,000 in the same month last year.
