A housewife has been shot dead in Narsingdi Sadar Upazila after being caught in indiscriminate firing during a clash between rival BNP factions, police say. The incident took place on Friday afternoon at Satpara village, said Narsingdi Additional Superintendent of Police Sujan Chandra Sarkar. On Thursday morning, a clash between the factions left one dead and several others injured. In Thursday's clash, an elderly man named Idan Mia was killed and at least five others were injured. Meanwhile, Jamuna TV staff reporter Ayub Khan came under attack at Narsingdi Sadar Hospital while gathering news on Thursday’s violence.
