Consultants take advantage of naïve clients who hire them without a serious, objective vetting process. Some ideas came from clients who were victimized by “consulting demons.” Therefore, caveat emptor. It is also for the greater interest of consultants — so they can perpetuate a mutually profitable, long-term professional partnership with clients. Therefore, if you’re the client, don’t ignore a tedious screening process. If nothing happened, then you’ve become a victim of “consulting demons” without even knowing it.
