Many are unwilling to take constructive criticism or handle doubts from employees with any measure of grace, but there’s power in vulnerability. Here are my two key rules for becoming a more relatable, vulnerable leader. As a leader, it’s your job to develop trust with your employees—because without it, the performance of your entire organization will suffer in the long run. As the leader of your organization, you naturally have the most responsibility (and the most at stake) to fix the problems at-hand. Things like the challenge you’re facing, why you’re in this situation, where the company currently stands, and what this could mean for the future.
