Deontay Wilder marked his 50th professional fight with a split-decision victory over Derek Chisora after 12 brutal rounds in London. The two veterans of the heavyweight decision traded countless blows and it was the American who shaded his British opponent, knocking him down twice while only being put down once himself. Two judges scored the fight in favour of Wilder (115-111 and 115-113) while the other scored it in favour of Chisora (115-112). After the fight, Wilder voiced his intention to follow up this evening's victory with a world title fight.
