I made sure I didn’t coach the team under pressure or fear. In the opening game of the U-17 World Cup in Abuja, the Eaglets came back from 3-0 to tie 3-3 against Germany. There were so many allegations that we sacrificed the U-17 World Cup for U-20 World Cup qualifiers. It is better than winning the trophy while none of the players would make the senior national team. They just need to be mentally prepared because most of the local players don’t have that.
