How Olympic Bobsled Turned Into ‘Dancing With the Stars’

Lolo Jones and Lauryn Williams were Olympic track stars who re-emerged as Olympic bobsledders in 2014. In the larger pool of Olympic athletes, many of whom have been obsessively honing their skills since early childhood, they are outliers. According to Olympic historian Bill Mallon, there are only 143 athletes who have competed in both the summer and winter Olympics.
