With the left-wingers grabbing the lion's share of media attention, President Trump is already trying to run against her party as a bunch of wild-eyed socialists. "The far left's frustration with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is on the rise," The Washington Post declares. The president is also using Omar as a way of dinging Pelosi. Trump is essentially saying that Pelosi has lost control to her left-wing zealots, and has been reduced to an Omar puppet. Ilhan Omar, although she apologized once for anti-Semitic comments, does not appear to be a conciliatory politician.
