Brienne answers, "Women can't be knights...I didn't even want to be a knight." How many times have women had to convince themselves that they never really wanted that promotion, that vacation, that title, that win? If you are a woman of color, this denial of dreams by society has been even more intense. It may have been other women that told you that your dream was just not going to happen.
