Seeing kids enjoying themselves Sunday paused my fears for a moment that my country is doomed. Then came Tucker Carlson’s claim, on the streaming service of this country’s most-watched television news channel, that the attack on the Capitol was a false flag and not the attempt to overthrow our legally elected president that it was. How can this lie be allowed to be streamed and promoted by a “news” channel? Even without that, alarms should be sounding every moment at our Capitol. Our country is in peril.
