Solskjaer has put pen to paper on a three-year contract worth £7.5million-a-year after being given the reins on a full-time basis. He succeeded Mourinho as caretaker boss in December after the Portuguese oversaw the worst start for United in Premier League history. But he will trouser just a fraction of Mourinho's £15million salary he earned during his tenure at the Theatre of Dreams.
