The flurry of new arrivals has changed the line of succession over the last couple of months with many members of the royal family seeing their positions updated. Ninth in line to the throne, Beatrice will move to 10th place when the Sussexes' baby arrives. Baby Mapelli Mozzi will be 11th in line to the throne and will enter the line of succession below Beatrice and above Eugenie, bumping their aunt into the 12th spot. In a statement the palace said: "Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are very pleased to announce that they are expecting a baby in autumn of this year. Princess Beatrice is already stepmother to Mr Mapelli Mozzi's young son Wolfie, from his previous relationship with his ex-fiancee Dara Huang.
