The debate over the Brexit deal has covered everything from fishing to freight. But since taking over last month as the new minister for universities, science and research, it’s become clear to me that an important aspect of the debate risks being overlooked: the importance of the withdrawal agreement and the framework for our future relationship for science and research in the UK.
