Two bricklayers who were working on scaffolding that suddenly collapsed - killing a teenager and leaving another man fighting for his life - have revealed their own miraculous escape from the carnage. SafeWork New South Wales inspectors attended the site after the collapse, and a spokesman said the two bricklayers made an incredible leap to safety. Another two workers were laying bricks at the top of the structure and jumped to safety,' SafeWork NSW said in a statement. 'Crucial safety checks and procedures need to be at the front and centre of every construction site. 'He's new to this industry, early in his working life.
